We heard from Lina Kay!

We talked to Jeff's daughter Lina the other day.  It was great to hear from her and it sounds like she is doing well.  She doesn't have internet access so we created a video to send to her which included this slideshow.  There are lots of horse pictures but also some people pics at the end. 

Not the beginning, but a good place to start

Today was our wedding day!  It was bitter cold outside but the sun was shining and we were blessed with the presence of some of our most favorite people to help us celebrate our new life together.  The kids were here but honestly I can barely remember anything besides staring into my new husband's blue eyes.  Meredith made a beautiful cake last minute:

I had a major case of perma-grin the whole day!

It was a lovely, simple ceremony in the barn.

The barn was decorated with lights and we kept it warm with a heater until the ceremony started.  The lights and candles were just beautiful and gave the whole thing a wonderful, magical quality. 

So for a new blog I think this makes a great first post.  I can't remember ever starting a new year so well!
